My journey into the healing arts and sciences began in the 1980s when I was a nurse at The Royal Children’s hospital Melbourne. Over the years I have gained qualifications in midwifery, community health, women’s health, Ki yoga teacher training, Recently I have enjoyed studying with Tina Nance and successfully completed teacher training in yin yoga,  yoga therapeutics, mindfulness and Yoga Nidra. I have also graduated from courses in shiatsu massage, aromatherapy, reiki, intuitive intelligence and mindfulness meditation.

I have developed a profound appreciation for eastern philosophy and complementary therapies and I love to practice, learn and share my knowledge of the many health benefits brought about by a regular yoga meditation practice.

After 15 years in Sydney where I established the popular yoga program at The Royal Hospital for Women and taught private and corporate yoga, I moved back home to Victoria with my husband Mick and settled in beautiful Aireys Inlet where I met Amy Murphy. Amy and I shared a dream to create a truly welcoming and integrative yoga school and so Aireys Yoga was born.
